What the critics said

"...soprano Adriana Gonzalez plays a Liù whose shivering voice captures all the essence of devotion and fragility.”

- Toute la Culture

"As Liù we then heard the young Franco-Guatemalan soprano Adriana Gonzalez, who alternates, in the part, with Ermonela Jaho, and it was really a nice surprise, a voice of great sweetness as necessary for the part, with pianos well executed, very moving in the interpretation, rightly gratified by warm applause”

- MusiCultura

“Adriana González's very beautiful Liù had been discovered in Strasbourg. We find it as in itself in Bastille, here a little shy in the first act, magnificent in the third by the beauty of the phrasing, the liquidity of the high-pian pianissimi, the intensity of the incarnation, a fragile but never chic slave.”

- ConcertoNet

“Imposing velvet and round voice...”
